A Greenway that winds through the Pas valley down to the sea
Cantabria offers travellers a wealth of verdant landscapes. At the foot of the mountains, the region’s rivers, up which salmon still run, have cut fertile valleys through which railways wend their way. One such railway used to link the coastal town of Astillero and the Pas Valley town of Ontaneda. Nowadays trains no longer follow this route, but it is now open to anyone wishing to discover this region in a new and exciting way.
