The rural district of Noroeste (Northwest) in Murcia offers a great variety of landscapes to the tourist, from arid flatlands to mountainous areas covered with pine and almond trees. A modest railway used to cross this rural land from the market garden capital, Murcia, to the mountain capital, Caravaca.
This railway, now closed, has been converted into a Greenway to help tourists get to know this interesting area. A further 10 kms between Baños de Mula and Campos del Río is yet to be completed |
