CONDITIONED GREENWAY

LOCATION Urban borders in the northern estuary of Odiel. Huelva. ANDALUCÍA. Municipalities: Huelva, Aljaraque and Gibraleón. Length: 29,6 km. Users: Type of surface: compacted gravel and doble asphalt surface treatment. Natural setting: Marismas del Odiel Natural Park (area declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO), Tinto and Odiel rivers, Lagunas de Palos and Las Madres. Punta Umbria, Los Enebrales and La Bota beaches.
Cultural heritage: Huelva: historic center, cathedral Our Lady of Mercy, Tinto dock, monument to the Fé Descubridora. Aljaraque: Archaeological Zone of Papa Uvas, thermal power station of Corrales, railway station of Corrales. Gibraleón: Gibraleón castle, church of Saint John Baptist. Our Lady of Vado convent. Infrastructure: greenway, 1 bridge over the Prado creek and various footbridges. Equipments in infrastructure: Rest area and parking (in the Gibraleón area), a Starlight point. Recovered old railway stations: Corrales station: houses the municipal offices of the Aljaraque town hall.
